an Overview
Baynflax
Limited of Warwick has been established in the design and manufacture
of food processing equipment for over 25 years. Our main role in the food
industry is automation of food processing and continuing improvement in
output, quality and profitability. To this end, we have developed a comprehensive
range of equipment to include depositors, sauce pumps, meal make-up lines,
sandwich tracks, cake cutting & decoration plants and a full range
of pie and flan machinery.
Baynflax is a well structured company consisting of three main board directors
and some 40 employees. Our main customer base consists of multinational
companies such as United Biscuits, Birds Eye Walls, Northern Foods Group
(i.e. Pork Farms/Bowers), Campbells, Geest Foods Group, S & A Foods,
Noons, Hazelwoods, Cavaghan and Gray, David A Halls, Ginsters plus many
more, including many smaller 'Craft' Bakeries.
Baynflax offers after sales service and spares availability. 75% of spare
parts are dispatched on the same day direct from our stores. Experienced
service engineers are on call to respond to urgent engineering requirements.
Baynflax also offers tailor-made service contracts which are of particular
value to customers without in-house engineering facilities. our aim is
to ensure that equipment downtime is kept to an absolute minimum.
LIAISON,
PRESENTATION & TECHNICAL REVIEW
Our Sales Team offer a wealth of experience in the varied world of Food
Processing. It is our aim to confront your production issues, propose
the correct equipment and provide the most economical solution. Part of
the service offered to all our clients is an initial Technical Site Survey.
From this survey we are able to submit an equipment selection and comprehensive
specification based on our standard product range or alternatively, a
design prepared around the client's own specification.
QUALITY
& CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
The policy of Baynflax Limited is to strive for continuous improvement
in all its business activities. To accurately identify the customer's
needs in terms of quality, service and value, and fulfil these needs completely.
DESIGN &
PLANNING
Following final approval from the client, our in-house Design Department
will undertake to produce general layout and detailed manufacturing drawings.
This work is then carried out within the department utilising the latest
multi-station CAD facilities.
MATERIALS,
MANUFACTURING & WORKING STANDARDS
Once an order has been accepted the Production Department prepares a comprehensive
production schedule which identifies timing and resources required. Each
order is monitored on a daily basis, so allowing and required action to
be taken without detriment to the overall schedule.
TESTING
& INTERNAL APPROVAL
Prior to delivery, all Baynflax Capital Equipment has to pass rigorous
run and test procedures and a separate pro-delivery inspection. Wherever
practicable each machine has a product test and is expected to be signed
off by the customer and the Baynflax Project Leader.
INSTALLATION
& COMMISSIONING
Baynflax
Installation Engineers are gully trained and conversant with all Baynflax
equipment. Each installation is carried out to a detailed and comprehensive
check list of all relevant procedures. This enables us to ensure that
all installations are carried out to our exacting standards and that dated
completions are adhered to.
CE DOCUMENTATION
All Baynflax equipment complies with the current CE risk assessment, part
of our procedures is to ensure that the relevant personnel receive adequate
training in order to cover any potential hazard that may be present. On
completion of the risk assessment and training the customer will receive
a copy of all the relative documentation.
TECHNICAL
SUPPORT
Baynflax stock a comprehensive range of spare parts, which are generally
despatched on the same day. As with all our departments, daily monitoring
ensures a positive response. Our Service Engineers are available to cater
for emergency repairs and will also carry out work under a maintenance/service
contract. The engineers work from well-stocked, marked Company vehicles
and are easily contacted via their mobile telephones.
